Big Sean originally announced that he’ll be releasing his sophomore album, Hall of Fame on December 18 — but in today’s vlog, he describes why he has decided to push it back.
“I’m playing myself if I come out too early. I’ma take my time with it. My first album was not all the way where I wanted it to be,”
He also opens up about his fears with this upcoming project and his career.
“I can sit here and say I don’t fear anything, nothing, or I never felt fear. That’s a damn lie though. Everybody afraid of something, whether you know it or not. I always feared not ever living the life I dreamed of or not being successful or rich. Instead of letting my fears scare me or disable me, I let them motivate me, inspire me, by getting past ‘em, shittin’ on ‘em.”
Well said, Mr. Anderson. Well said. What do you think about him pushing his album back? Drop a comment below.

I think its a smart move on his part. There’s a lot of buzz and attention centered around too many other artist in his market, so perfecting his craft and releasing something competitive is important. As a fan I want his best work, not something rushed and forced. Let’s just hope its worth the wait! -WPEC
