Jay-Z is exactly right, it’s not about the votes its about doing the right thing and not discriminating against who other people choose to love. Obama knew that there were going to be some people opposed to him accepting of gay marriage but he wouldn’t openly say it if his intentions were to please everyone and keep voters. He said it because he is trying to make a positive change in America, and fight the barriers of discrimination.
