The Wake Up Show and SwaysUniverse.com is excited to announce the first annual Wakeup Show Rap Battle.

We’re looking for the best battle rapper in the nation to prove their skills to Sway, Tech, and our group of guest panelists.

We’ll be hand picking 32 of the best and allow the Citizens to vote daily on who they think should make it to the next round. You’ll vote all the way down to the final 4 — which will be invited to NYC to battle it out on Sirius XM’s #SwayInTheMorning.

The final winner of The Wakeup Show Rap Battle will receive:

• $2,500
• A single produced by an established, well-known producer.
• Established artists in-studio to witness the final battle.

RULES

Submit a YOUTUBE VIDEO LINK (minimum 30 seconds; no longer than a minute) of you rapping to: WakeUpShowRapBattle@gmail.com. You MUST include the following information:

• your artist-name
• age
• @twitter handle
• city you live in
• email address

Our SU board will go through all submissions and choose the best 32 rappers to participate on Monday December 10. For the 3 weeks to follow, we’ll be dwindling down our battle rappers according to your vote. At the end of each week, winners will be announced and allowed into the next level. If you’re skilled enough to make it to our final round, you’ll be invited to battle live on Shade 45′s #SwayInTheMorning.
